Kill switch: test blocking after a disconnect

Understand client and OS limits and check for direct access when the tunnel fails.

How to connect

  1. Automatic reconnect tries to restore the Secure connection; a kill switch should block direct traffic. These are different functions, and a subscription alone does not enable blocking.
  2. Check your client and OS documentation. Compatible Android configurations may offer always-on Secure connection and blocking without Secure connection; do not assume the same controls exist elsewhere.
  3. At a safe time, close important sessions and test tunnel failure while the network remains available, then recovery, network changes and restart. Traffic should not escape directly during failure.

Zerkalo-Pro claims no proprietary client or universal kill switch. A browser check does not cover all apps, IPv6 and DNS; pause sensitive work and contact support if uncertain.
